Withdrawn Patent

Definition:
An allowed application for patent in which the applicant files correspondence to withdraw the patent from issue, thus preventing it from issuing on the patent issue date.

Nonexclusive License

Definition:
The title remains with the licensor. A patent license is a transfer of rights that does not amount to an assignment of the patent.
